So you’re engaged. You realize that the most exciting season of your life just started, and yet all the lovey dovey emotions meet reality. There’s so much to do. But rest assured though, your wedding planning season doesn’t have to be stressful. In fact, it can actually be breezy and exciting, if you understand what the important tasks are (and what not to even waste your time on). As the bride, you don’t have to take responsability for everything. And that’s exactly the first tip I’m going to cover.

1. Delegate, Baby!
Your friends have been there for you through thick and thin. Reward them with a buttload of tasks to help you with, they’ll love knowing that you count them important enough to participate with you on your wedding planning (or maybe they won’t but that’s beside the point). Figure out who is going to help with what so that you’re not left handling it all alone.

2. Choose A Venue
Since venues commonly book out a year in advance, it’s probably not a good idea to snooze on booking the venue you really want. Have your coordinator help you sort through your favorite venues and help you narrow it down.

3. Send out the Save The Dates
Once you’ve selected a date for the wedding, make it official by sending out your Save The Date cards to everyone you plan on inviting.
